MARA is the latest addition to the revolutionary ARA series.

Designed for medium to large-scale events, MARA combines a cardioid and symmetrical design with an output of 4200 W RMS, achieving a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 148 dB. The specially designed components include two 10-inch woofers, two 8-inch midrange speakers and two 6-inch drivers in a cardioid configuration. High frequencies are covered by two M-78N compression drivers with 3-inch voice coils. The system is also available in two horizontal dispersion angles – 80º and 100º – to suit a wide range of acoustic requirements and event types.

The technology behind MARA includes a 6-channel Class D amplifier with a switch-mode power supply and Power Factor Correction (PFC), which guarantees stable and efficient performance under different voltage conditions. The cardioid design provides rear attenuation of up to -12 dB in the frequency range of 80 Hz to 200 Hz, enabling precise sound control and minimizing unwanted emissions on stage.

INTEGRAL is a series of DSP and matrix components as well as state-of-the-art Class-D power amplifiers that guarantee optimum acoustic performance and a high level of operational reliability thanks to the on-board dedicated DSP presets per loudspeaker model. Operation via our ALMA control software offers the integrator simple implementation and extensive functions.

Class D power amplifiers offer immense advantages in terms of reliability in fixed installations: the high efficiency and low waste heat place considerably less strain on the electronic components and the risk of failure due to dust contamination is extremely reduced thanks to the significantly lower cooling requirements. Another advantage of INTEGRAL power amplifiers: With two channels bridged, you can drive 70 or 100V lines directly without an additional transformer.

The control of the INTEGRAL systems via OSC, either via a tablet, smartphone or the optional WP-3 wall touch panel, also offers convenient and easy handling by the end user.

The ARA-P28.74 is a point source system that combines technical innovation with acoustic precision. Featuring a dual 8-inch speaker configuration, this model delivers a comprehensive frequency range from 70 Hz to 17 kHz. The ARA-P28 ensures uniform sound dispersion, and is available in two versions, with 70°x40° and 110°x50°, both horns rotable. Ideal for short to medium throw applications in various settings.

Equipped with a powerful class D amplifier with universal mains switching power supply, the ARA-P28 offers a continuous power rating of 1200 W, with peak capabilities reaching 2400 W (1600 W for low frequencies and 800 W for high frequencies). This system boasts a maximum linear SPL of 137 dB and a peak SPL of 141 dB, ensuring powerful performance in any environment.

The advanced electronics of the ARA-P28.74 include a 96kHz sampling rate with an intuitive ALMA control interface for precise sound management. One system, one brain; each ARA-P28.74 includes a unique processing input channel working at 96kHz with 10 EQ points and a total delay of 823ms, translating to 283 meters, enhancing its versatility in system setup. The power module’s DSP platform features specially designed Finite Impulse Response filters (FIR) for acoustical flat magnitude and phase response, allowing a coherent combination with other units of the ARA series, like the LARA / SARA line arrays.

At the heart of the ARA-P28.74 are our custom-manufactured transducers, the 8GXN, equipped with a neodymium magnet and a 2.5” Voice Coil Diameter (VCD). These transducers are crafted for exceptional long displacement capabilities and minimal distortion. Complementing this is the M78N compression driver, identical to those utilized in the ARA series line arrays. With a 3-inch VCD, the M78N is adept at producing crisp, clear high frequencies, contributing to the overall rich and detailed audio experience the ARA-P28.74 offers.

The ARA-P12 is a top class active 2-way loudspeaker, equipped with an extremely powerful DSP with 96kHz and monitorable and controllable via an IP-based network and our multiplatform software (Mac/PC) ALMA™.

The configuration includes a powerful 12" neodymium bass-midrange driver with 3" voice coil and a 3" neodymium pressure chamber driver with titanium cone acting on a rotatable tweeter horn made of die-cast aluminum with a nom. Two different horn versions are available, both rotable, with a nominal dispersion angle of 70°x40° or 110°x50°.

The integrated bi-amp class D power amplifier with switching power supply including PFC provides an output of 1200 Watts/cont. (2400W/peak) and realizes a, for it’s class exceptionally high sound pressure level of 140dB . Convection cooling without a fan also enables the use in sensitive applications.

The powerful DSP with the highest audio quality offers comprehensive signal processing, which can be controlled via the rear OLED display or via an IP-based network and our multiplatform software (Mac/PC) ALMA™. The concept and in particular the use of the same M78N compression driver as in the line arrays of the ARA series, ensure easy integration of the P12 as a support loudspeaker within a larger system. The cabinet is made of birch plywood and coated with our robust ISOflex™ PU coating. The P12 equipped with Neutrik PowerCon True1 mains connections including cover flaps and weather protection for the connection panel and complies with the IP43 standard. In addition to integrated M10 points for direct mounting and the integrated pole mount, a selection of mounting accessories is available for horizontal or vertical mounting.
