Prolight + Sound Colleges
You can look forward to our expanded knowledge programme. The new Prolight + Sound Colleges will consist of three bilingual formats: the Camera College (in co-operation with the BVFK - Bundesverband der Fernsehkameraleute), the ProAudio College (in co-operation with the VDT - Verband Deutscher Tonmeister) and the VPLT College (in co-operation with the VPLT - Verband für Medien und Veranstaltungstechnik).
The VPLT College will provide you with important information and tips on exciting topics in the industry, such as sound level measurement, statics or best practices on network technologies in the event industry.
You will receive written confirmation of the knowledge you have acquired. The presentations will be held partly in German and partly in English.
Main Stage | Hall 11.0 E11
The Main Stage in Hall 11.0 will be the centre of numerous exciting and highly informative panel discussions, keynotes and live performances.
Experience the award-winning creative director and choreographer Genevieve Cleary, producer and DJ Gregor Tresher, label head of Cocoon Recordings Edgar Dirksen, all-round guitar talent Yasi Hofer, William Ellis and Professor Tim Wall with the keynote speech. Tim Wall with the keynote speech "What is your One LP?", designer, entrepreneur and CCO of Atelier Markgraph Stefan Weil, DJ Emanuel Satie, event experts Prof Stefan Luppold and Patrick Haag as well as Michael Kastner, Head of Product at HOLOPLOT and many more.
The Green Sessions of the EVVC (European Association of Event Centres) will also take place there.
PLS Conference | Halle 11.0, Room Granat
The PLS Conference programme in cooperation with the VPLT reflects the focal points of important topics in the industry for entertainment technology:
- education and training
- standardization and legal requirements
- event safety and security
The PLS Conference is the information hub ‘by the sector for the sector’. Main topics will be: Status quo of the event-technology industry or professionalism in all disciplines.
International Event Safety + Security Conference (I-ESC) | Hall 11.0, Room Korall
The I-ESC (International Event Safety + Security Conference) organised by the VPLT - The Association for Media and Event Technology offers international speakers on event safety and security the opportunity to discuss current topics in the event and live performance industry with the audience. Many topics that currently concern the event industry will be described in detail, such as "Weather Events and Climate Change", "Rigging & Artistry - Impacts from Artistic Performances" or the increasing threat of "Espionage, Sabotage, Cyber Attacks - Your Data in Sight".
For the first time this year, the entire conference will be split into two strands and held in English and German. Numerous keynote speeches on important event security topics will also encourage participants to engage in discussions with the speakers during the breaks.
Manufacturers‘ Forum | Hall 11.0, Raum Korall
At the Manufacturer´s Forum companies present their innovative products and examples of best practice.
Take part at lectures, live demonstrations, workshops and certification courses and gain expert knowledge and learn about tomorrow’s technologies in all entertainment-technology segments.
VPLT Experience Zone
Topics that move the industry - live and hands-on! The VPLT, the Association for Media and Event Technology, will be presenting exciting talks and industry events in a dedicated area. A modern presentation area with LED wall and conference technology offers the best opportunities to highlight topics such as e.g. the Green Deal. Exciting industry meetings will also be held there, e.g. by the examiners for master craftsmen and event technology specialists.
