Kinesys Apex System

The Kinesys Pulse Hoist is a variable speed electric chain hoist with a lifting capacity of 2500 kg. The hoist is powered by the Kinesys Pulse Drive 7.5 kW and can be operated using the TAIT Navigator™ Automation Platform.
The maximum lift speed is 200 mm/s and the integrated load cell with overload and underload protection means that the hoist meets SIL 3 requirements.
The Pulse Hoist features dual silent brakes and ultra-smooth movement resulting from precision speed and position control.
In conjunction with Navigator™, key data such as load and temperature can be monitored. This allows users to ensure that the hoist is not over-exerted, that regulatory requirements are met, and that maintenance schedules are kept precisely.

Kinesys Libra is a range of products designed to offer simple and accurate load measurements for use in any number of rigging and load bearing applications.

There are three main elements to a system: the load cell, the hub/power supply and the viewing and programming software. The Libra system also offers full connectivity with other Kinesys products allowing load measuring to be a part of any system.

Kinesys Libra Cell is a load measuring shackle which, when combined with the other elements of the Libra system, produces accurate, real time load information. LibraCELL is designed for indoor use and is not waterproof.

The load cell itself features the Libra shackle pin, which is designed to work exclusively with the world-wide recognised Crosby safety bow shackle. This innovative design means there is no loss of headroom as the load cell is built right into the shackle, a direct replacement for the famous ‘red pin’. The Libra shackle maintains a safety factor of 5:1 up to the full rated load stamped on the side of the bow.

Built into the load cell is a highly visible LED display allowing users to view the live load as well as input a tare value and switch between kg and lbs, all via an easy to use menu system.

Kinesys Libra View working in conjunction with Kinesys Libra Cells, Kinesys Libra Basic and Kinesys Libra Pro controllers, the Libra View software enables users to get a live readout of weights placed on Libra Cells, as well as offering logging and archiving facilities. These are available in kg or lbs.

The Libra View software allows all activity to be logged and exported to a Comma Separated Value (.csv) file which can be opened by any text or spreadsheet application. It is also possible to automate this process to archive logs.

When used in conjunction with a Kinesys Libra PRO controller, relays can be triggered when an underload or overload is detected by the Kinesys Libra Cells. These relays can be programmed to trigger sounders or visual warnings as well as triggering an emergency stop.

Kinesys DigiHoist is a fixed speed digital control system for chain hoists with safety group functionality which has been created to be a flexible, configurable, next generation control solution.

DigiHoist incorporates all the safety functionality required to work in group hoist mode and is in compliance with many strict EU standards. Load monitoring, group stop, positioning and self healing emergency stop are standard DigiHoist features, all working within a user friendly digital platform.
