LITECRAFT WashXTC
Description
The WashXTC is a more powerful and more variable product that rounds off the WashX series at the top end and at the same time sets new standards in terms of brightness and features. The WashXTC is based on 32 large lenses with RGBW LEDs, which not only mix particularly homogeneously, but also offer an enormous increase in brightness compared to the previous model.
The beam behaviour of the WashXTC can be flexibly adapted to the lighting situation. Without optional filters, which can be inserted into the holder on the front of the device, the beam pattern is 10° and is therefore ideal for illumination at greater distances. The scope of delivery also includes a 25° and a 40° frost filter, which generate two typical flood characteristics. Also optionally available are an 80° LSF (Light Shaping Filter), which is characterised by a particularly wide beam pattern with a high degree of transmission (i.e. low light loss), as well as the 60° x 10° and the 10° x 60° LSF for special grazing light applications with otherwise identical properties. Optional barndoors are also available for easy adjustment of the light field and for a reduced stray light effect.
For better handling, the WashXTC has two large handles on the back of the housing and an enlarged display for improved readability and operation. The Y-bracket included in the scope of delivery enables both upright and suspended mounting without extra accessories. Also new are the integrated omega mounts, which quickly and securely hold the supplied omega bracket and allow optional hooks, clamps or TV spigots to be removed to save space for transport in a flight case.
It is controlled via DMX 512-A with RDM support for automatic patching or changing the DMX mode from the lighting console. The integrated LUMENRADIO CRMXchip is available as an option, which enables wireless control via DMX 512-A (RDM via cable) with both CRMX Classic and the latest LUMENRADIO CRMX² protocol. In CRMX² mode, the device can be quickly and securely integrated into existing wireless networks via ‘Linking Key’ and also displays the ‘Universe Name’ configured in the transmitter. The CRMX antenna has been integrated into the housing design at the factory in order to achieve the best possible reception results, unlike comparable devices. The CRMX option must be specified when ordering. The radio option is installed by the LMP service team to ensure that the IP 65 protection class is maintained. For quick settings, an infrared remote control is included in the scope of delivery, with which fixed colours and gradients can be quickly selected and adjusted at the touch of a button.
Other new features include the adjustable PWM frequency for adapting to studio technology and other spotlights in the set, as well as selectable dimmer curves and flexible CCT control, which allows colour temperatures in the range from 3,000 to 6,400 Kelvin to be selected on the device via the menu or via DMX. Thanks to the OLED display and clear menu system, all settings are easy to make even without operating instructions. The menu has various modes for locking the display to prevent unauthorised use. The IP65 protection class allows the device to be used both indoors and outdoors. The cabling is flexible and simple with IP-protected plug connectors in the powerIP and XLR 5-pin versions.
