Prolight + Sound becomes a themed area of Light + Building 2026

Messe Frankfurt is realigning Prolight + Sound: in 2026 it will take place as a dedicated area within Light + Building and no longer as a stand-alone trade fair.

This responds to the registration status following the end of the early-bird phase, which does not ensure a satisfactory independent edition. Instead, exhibitors who can benefit from Light + Building will receive attractive offers for their exhibition presence. Within the area, selected companies – particularly from lighting technology, digital signage and security technology – will present solutions in the setting of the world’s leading trade fair for lighting and building technology.

We are currently at the beginning of the planning process; further details will be announced in due course.
