xPressCue
When it comes to media playback, most professional solutions available today are either laptop-based, or media-server based. This often comes with a slew of reliability issues and a steep learning curve. The Theatrixx xPressCue is a hardware device that addresses the playback needs of the video, lighting and audio professionals and has currently no equivalent on the market.
This new media player, designed and manufactured by Theatrixx, has a large onboard, flash-based, storage capacity. It can recognize and play most known video, audio and image files with a minimal loading delay. The device is equipped with the necessary hardware and software to make switching between two clips instant and seamless.
Failure is not an option in the pro-AV industry and so every precaution is taken on the hardware and software side to guarantee a continued smooth operation. The device is also housed in a durable rackmount 1U enclosure, equipped with professional, locking connectors.
The xPressCue can be controlled in several ways, including its on- board OLED display and encoder wheel, web-based interface, DMX and more. External devices such as Elgato Stream Decks can also be connected directly to the media player for increased possibilities.

About TPEP technology
When it comes to fine pixel pitch LED in rental / pro AV applications, the biggest hurdle is no doubt the fragility of these products. Indeed, it is not uncommon for sub-4 mm inventories to suffer significant down-time, and consequently, require a higher percentage of spare equipment to be purchased and maintained. We believe that this is the single biggest barrier to adoption of fine pixel pitch LED in rental and pro AV environments, and this why we created TPEP.
Our exclusive TPEP has been developed upon our years of experience designing, manufacturing and servicing LED displays for the most demanding environments. It combines unmatched durability with ease of servicing, all while delivering the highest-quality images at a competitive price point.
- Titanium-encased module protects against direct edge impacts the most common source of LED damage.
- Liquid shader replaces traditional solid shaders, eliminating screws, brittle plastic, and providing a unencumbered, 170 degrees viewing angle.
- Easily serviceable with inexpensive specialized tooling.
- Polymer compound provides mechanical bonding between pixels, without covering LED lenses or altering their colour spectrum.
- Use of industry-standard LEDs mean all batch-matching and calibration methods can be seamless applied.

8-Bay Reversible Frame
The Theatrixx Reversible Converter system is the natural extension of the award-winning xVision Converter line, now available in a modular rackmount format with the same processing quality and reliability that is the hallmark of the xVision brand. In a continuous effort by Theatrixx to eradicate unprofessional wall-warts from our industry, the modular design allows each system to be configured exactly as needed, and even reconfigured on-the-fly, with a host of modules available, featuring SDI, HDMI, Fiber, HDBaseT and more.
The 8-slot, 3RU host unit features dual, oversized power supplies for unbeatable reliability and virtually uninterrupted uptime. Power supplies are configured for automatic switch-over in case of failure with LEDs at the front of the unit indicating status. Mains power is delivered via dual locking PowerCON True1 connectors.
The modules can be inserted in either direction, allowing the inputs/outputs to be positioned either at the front or the back of the unit depending on the application. There are no exposed PCBs as all modules are enclosed, and therefore protected against static shock, dust and general wear and tear. Gold-plated, redundant spring pins with magnetic retention deliver DC power to the modules, meaning no messy cabling and external power bricks are needed.
The Theatrixx Reversible Converter system is perfect for high-end installations rental, touring, broadcast and any other application requiring a professional and reliable high-density video conversion/processing solution. The system is future-proof and more modules will be added regularly. The Theatrixx 8-Bay Reversible Frame eliminates the need for rack shelves, wall warts and velcro, providing a professional solution for video distribution and conversion.
- Self-enclosed conversion modules, no exposed PCB.
- Spring-loaded contacts deliver power to modules – no cables or power strips!
- Magnets ensure the modules stay securely in place and powered on, even with the door open.
- Reversible modules; you decide if the inputs should be at the front or the back!
- Dual locking Neutrik PowerCON True1 mains input connectors.
- Shallow design can be placed behind processors, scalers or other devices to save rack space.
- Fully modular – mix and match signal converters, fiber, DAs, de-embedders, and more.
- The same processing quality and reliability you’ve come to expect from xVision Converters.

HDMI to Fibre Converter
Professional equipment in mission-critical applications is all about reliability and confidence. So we started with a clean sheet, and built what may soon become your most trustworthy piece of equipment.
Introducing the world’s first video converters truly designed for the road. Video converters nowadays are used everywhere on professional A/V events, presentations, live shows and tours and often have a critical role.
Yet, they are often the weakest link in the signal chain. Low quality connectors, weak enclosure, external consumer-grade power supply, and overall barebones design that all contribute to a generally unreliable piece of equipment. We wanted to change that, so we designed the xVision Video Converters
- Integrated power supply with locking PowerCON connector. Never rely on a cluster of wall-warts again.
- Built-in convenience outlet to power nearby monitor, flat-screen, laptop, video projector or any device up to 10 amps… Power bar to connect both converter and device not required anymore.
- Magnetic stacking system and non-skid rubber pad. Saves at least 10 gaffer tape rolls a year.
- Multiple mounting options: C-Clamp, wall-mount adapter, LCD mount adapter and belt adapter.
- Rugged, Tour-ready and aesthetic enclosure: The sexiest widget in your tool box, that will keep looking good for years to come.
- Plug-n-play operation; No dipswitches, buttons or menus to fumble with: It just works.
- Clear and ample status LED indicators for quick troubleshooting.
- Easy on-the-field identification with unique color and alphabetic coding system.
- Locking HDMI port prevents accidental disconnection.
- Reclocked and amplified SDI loop thru.
- Proudly designed and assembled in Canada.
