L-Flame-Head
The flames of the Galaxis L-Flame Flame Heads simply look spectacular and are the result of numerous, lengthy tests. A product has been created which takes all factors into account in the best possible way and always achieves the optimum of what is accomplishable. The operation with Isopar L additionally increases safety enormously.Convenience and versatility are reflected in the control options, whether wired or wireless DMX or the optional Galaxis Advanced Radio Module.DMX is always fed in at the Pump Station and routed to the connected heads and back again. The signal is then available again at an output for forwarding to various devices. The Advanced Radio Module is located in the heads and offers similar, proven features to the G-Flame, making integration easy for Galaxis users. The most important feature is probably the extremely robust and waterproof aluminum housing. No expense and effort has been spared for this and it is the guarantee for a long-lasting service-life in the rough everyday use on tour. Our proven concept of electronic humidity monitoring and desiccant in the device is also used here. In terms of installation, all possibilities are open thanks to the T-slot grooves on all sides and a mounting plate for truss elements available as an accessory.A breather valve in the device provides pressure equalization. The Flame Head can shoot in all directions and here a special innovation is used: Sensors in the Flame Head can precisely measure the orientation in all three
dimensions and the user can store it. As soon as this orientation changes slightly, the device can stop the flame and prevent further flame effects. The powerful arc ignition system is built in double for best possible performance and both are electronically monitored for correct operation. The electronic flame control detects non-ignition extremely quickly and would close the magnetic valves in such a case. The fuel hose and the fuel-carrying components in the Flame Head up to the magnetic valves are monitored for leakages. After the pressure has stabilized after putting the unit into operation, it is continuously measured and evaluated. If a pressure drop occurs without any flame being generated, this is interpreted as a leakage and a safe condition is established. The Pump Station and the Flame Heads exchange data. The resulting advantages, such as comprehensive system monitoring and rapid re-pumping when fuel requests are received, have been extensively utilized. There are two magnetic valves in series in each of the Flame Heads and an additional supply valve in the Pump Station before each head connector. The latter is only opened if there is a fuel request from the respective Flame Head.Operation of the unit is very convenient thanks to the easily readable, illuminated LC display with plain text and the magnetic pen sensors. A menu guides the user through all settings. Various LEDs provide information about important operating states. On one side of the housing, the device has a visual warning indicator in the form of an exclamation mark, which flashes red when flame effects are imminent.A stable handle eases handling.

PFE Advanced - Black Edition - 10 Outputs
The PFE Advanced 10 Outputs is the most renowned receiver in the field of wireless firing technology and is a true all-rounder. A real revolution, since the year 2002. The receiver is waterproof (at least IP65) and has an ultra-stable housing made of thick-walled, anodized aluminum. This allows the device to be used even in the most extreme outdoor applications. Due to its small dimensions, it is also ideal for indoor and SFX applications. The device offers a fully integrated radio solution. No external radio modems are required. In addition, the function does not depend on any external data lines. This eliminates these frequent sources of error. For operation, you can access the menu with the magnetic pen and check or program all values and settings on site. Even switching on and off is done with the magnetic pen. So there are no vulnerable buttons or switches. An optional code request after switching on prevents unauthorized use of the device. Also with this receiver all outputs are completely freely programmable. The gold-plated connection terminals accept individual wires as well as banana plugs or quick-fastening clamps and enable extremely low contact resistance with permanent corrosion resistance. The PFE Advanced 10 Outputs has a plain text display for menu navigation and for displaying all device data (battery values, remaining range, programming, etc.), as well as multi-color LEDs for displaying all relevant output states with different colors (continuity, programming, firing, etc.).Based on the resistance values of the connected firing circuits and the set limit resistance, the device automatically determines whether firing is reliably possible and displays this to you.24 Volt firing voltage enable the reliable firing of 14 ‘A’- or ‘U’-matches in series or 20 ‘A’- or 10 ‘U’-matches in parallel. Due to a special mixture of series and parallel connection it is even possible to fire up to 280 e-matches per output and at a specific time.As the firing power is not buffered by a capacitor, this receiver is also ideal for controlling solenoid valves and effect devices. With the optional terminal function, all 10 outputs can be triggered several times with all 999 channels and an adjustable firing duration of 0.1 to 25.0 seconds. The high-performance rechargeable batteries deliver firing currents of up to 50 amps. Intelligent charging electronics ensure that the batteries are always kept at 100% availability without overcharging. In conjunction with the PFC Advanced or the PFM Advanced USB Radio Modem, bi-directional communication is possible. You can read all relevant receiver data from your controller or PC, e.g. remaining range, battery status, continuity test, etc. Even the programming of the outputs can be easily edited remotely. These remote accesses can be carried out with up to 999 devices. In addition, the device can be completely switched off by radio or put into a sleep mode and woken up again to increase the maximum operating time from 60 hours to up to 35 days.A stepper extension is available as an option, giving you virtually unlimited possibilities. An individual delay time can be assigned to each output. This means that even many different step operations are possible in one device at the same time. The step operations can be assigned to any number of receivers. Dynamic speed changes can be easily realized. The firing delay can be set from only 0.01 up to 99.99 seconds. These delay values are digitally adjustable over the entire range in steps of 0.01 seconds. An optionally available plug-in Matrix Module creates an absolutely full-featured receiver with 100 outputs. Even when using the Matrix Module, you can freely program all outputs, all outputs are stepable (optional) and the parameters of all outputs can be accessed and programmed directly on the device or via radio. If the battery voltage is too low, the unit can be switched off automatically to protect the batteries from deep discharge. The multi-function sockets can be used to connect an external power supply. An RS485 interface for optional cable control of the device is available.A build-in RS485 interface for optional cable communication is included. The devices of the ‘Advanced’ series are fully compatible with the devices of the ‘Profi’ series. The possibility of software updates allows you to keep your firing system constantly up to date. The PFE Advanced is a German high quality product. The used high-quality components guarantee highest reliability and a very long lifetime.

G-Flame
The Galaxis flame projector G-Flame is a new type of flame projector, which is extremely versatile in indoor, outdoor and special effects applications and is equipped with numerous features. In comparison to other products on the market, the Galaxis flame effect devices achieve much higher flame heights and a much fuller and therefore more beautiful flame pattern with a low noise level (ideal for stage/TV).Numerous control variants are available and in addition to the wired DMX512, wireless DMX receivers can also be powered via the XLR connection. This means that no power supplies, batteries or rechargeable batteries are required for the DMX receivers. All components are housed in a very stable, powder-coated aluminum housing.A large rechargeable battery ensures a long, mains-independent operation time of up to 60 hours, and large power reserves for the reliable supply of the powerful high-voltage ignition and the solenoid valves. Various battery test functions are integrated.Operating the device is very simple. All necessary settings can be made very conveniently via an illuminated text display with menu guidance. The fuel used is either the very cost-effective propane-butane liquefied gas mixture from commercially available gas cylinders of 5, 11 or 33 kg, which are connected via a hose. Alternatively, one or two cans of liquid gas or aerosol can be installed in the unit. In combination with the optionally available G-Flame Power Upgrade, even 4 aerosol cans can be used simultaneously. These cans and the cartridge holder are located under a cover on the rear side of the unit. Thus, the cans are safely integrated into the device and are not visible from the outside. The optional extension for can operation contains the holders for two cans and two non-return valves so that no fuel can escape through an accidentally opened shut-off valve. The conversion to operation with cans enables the use on stages. The same applies of course to the G-Flame Power Upgrade. In this context, we would like to point out that many customers also use the cartridge option for outdoor applications, either because of the quick and convenient installation or because autarkic operation is required.Autarkic operation means that no control or power cables, no additional control devices connected via cables, no gas hoses and no gas cylinders are required. This means that the unit can be set up extremely fast and can also be used on moving objects. The G-Flame becomes completely self-sufficient when cans are used and the device is controlled either by radio using the Advanced radio module or wireless DMX receivers.Outdoor operation is possible even in heavy rain. The device has a fine filter which largely prevents dust, sand or other foreign material from reaching the solenoid valve. Leaks in the solenoid valve can thus be prevented. Two solenoid valves connected in series additionally increase safety. An LED warning display in the shape of an exclamation mark signals e.g. actors on a stage that the device is ready to fire and that flame effects can be imminent. The device is equipped with a tilt sensor. As soon as it is tilted by more than 45°, the fuel supply is turned off for safety reasons. This function can be deactivated in the menu if you want to operate the unit with a larger angle of inclination. The G-Flame can thus generate flame effects in all directions, even vertically and downwards. For cartridge operation an adapter piece must be used at a tilt angle of more than 70° so that the fuel is taken from the gas cans in the liquid phase.Electronic flame monitoring by means of ionization measurement ensures that the fuel supply is switched off within one second if the flame does not ignite. The flame monitoring can be deactivated in the menu. With each control variant, different control times can be used for each triggering, e.g. to generate short, but powerful flame balls as well as long standing, extremely high flame columns. For operation with DMX512, the flame channel and safety channel can be programmed without any restrictions. For example, several flame columns can be set to different control channels and a common safety channel. The unit itself, the cartridge adapter and the hose are equipped with quick couplers, which significantly reduce the time required for set-up.The device is equipped with a holder for direct and quick mounting on stands. In addition, integrated cage nuts allow semi-cone connectors to be screwed in for easy mounting on 3- and 4-point trusses. The flame height can be determined by different nozzles during operation with cans. When gas cylinders are used, the flame height can be changed via the adjustable pressure reducer. After closing the solenoid valves, the flame vanishes very rapidly, even if the fuel is drawn in the liquid phase in gas cartridges operation, which also enables very fast step sequences here.A holder for up to four nozzles is integrated in the unit. When operated with the Advanced radio module, so-called atomic effects can be programmed. This ejects fuel, which is ignited with a programmable delay. The result is a powerful swirl in the flame. If the Advanced radio module is installed, extremely fast step sequences can be programmed with a range of 0.01 to 99.99 seconds and a resolution of 10 ms (1/100 s). With the Advanced radio module, the G-Flame becomes a bi-directional flame effect device with extensive functions that eases practical work and offer many advantages. The device can communicate with the controller PFC Advanced, the PFS Pocket, or with any PC via USB Radio Modem.

L-Flame-Pump Station
The L-Flame Pump Station is the heart of the new L-Flame system, which consists of up to three heads, the Pump Station and optionally the Filling Station. The Pump Station itself is equipped with numerous features and can be used in a variety of ways for indoor, outdoor, stage, tours and special effects.A generously dimensioned accumulator ensures a long, mains-independent operating time of up to 90 hours and provides large power reserves for reliable supply of the high-voltage ignition, the pumps and the magnetic valves. Continuous charging enables permanent standby operation. Deep discharge detection is also provided.Numerous control variants are available and in addition to wired DMX, wireless DMX receivers can also be powered via the XLR connector. Therefore no power supplies, batteries or rechargeable batteries are required for the DMX receivers. The DMX signal is fed in at the Pump Station, looped through from there to each individual Flame Head and back, and is available at an output for forwarding it to
the next device. All components are housed in a very sturdy, powdercoated aluminum casing, which protects the unit from light rain. In case of heavy rain and wind from the side, we recommend additional protection of the front of the unit. The Galaxis L-Flame system can be operated with the three common fuels: Isopar L, IPA or Ethanol. On stages of any kind, whether indoor or outdoor, we recommend the use of Isopar L, because this fuel does not burn in case of fallout on surfaces and objects under normal conditions, and it does not form easily ignitable mixtures in case of leakage. This is a great safety benefit. The regulations for storage and transport are also less strict than those for fuels classified as more flammable. For the internal fuel piping, no plastic hoses were used at all, but instead, attention was paid to durable components. The internal hydraulic pressure pipes are all made of high-quality stainless steel. The large, integrated tank is made of welded aluminum and is therefore permanently corrosion-resistant.The tank level is measured electronically without mechanical components and the result can be displayed, e.g. during filling, with an LED bar or as a percentage value in the LCD or can be called up via remote data request. The device has a dirt filter on the tank nozzle, filters in the intake and a fine filter in each of the six pumps. This prevents dust, sand or other foreign objects from reaching the pumps and the magnetic valves. This prevents leaking magnetic valves and defective pumps. There are two magnetic valves in series in each of the Flame Heads and an additional supply valve in the Pump Station before each head connector. This is only opened if there is a fuel request from the respective Flame Head. The pump station is equipped with a bubble level, which shows the user exactly whether the unit is in a horizontal position.Only hydraulic flat-face couplers were used, which are extremely resistant to dirt. The waterproof, electrical push-pull connectors also meet the highest standards. The data exchange between the Pump Station and the Flame Heads enables the best possible system monitoring, performance and lowest pressure drops by immediate re-pumping when flames are generated. An integrated pressure accumulator also buffers the system pressure. As a special highlight we would like to point out the autarkic operation with the powerful, integrated pumps and the accumulator. Autarkic means that no additional cables for control or power supply, no additional control units connected by cables, no gas hoses and gas cylinders for CO2 or nitrogen etc. are required. This means that the device can be set up extremely fast and can also be used on moving objects. The lower part of the housing is designed as a tray and would collect the escaping fuel in case of a leakage in the unit. A liquid sensor monitors this tray and if the
sensor responds, a safety shutdown would be initiated. In addition, the unit has numerous other automatic monitoring functions such as the detection of pressure drops without consumption and two tank overfill sensors. Once the pressure has stabilized after putting the unit into operation, it is continuously measured and evaluated. If there is a pressure drop without a fuel request, this is interpreted as a leakage and a safe condition is established (fail safe). Many systems from other manufacturers often simply provide pressurized liquid fuels and do not detect when a leakage occurs. The operation of the device is very convenient thanks to the easily readable, illuminated LCD with plain text display and the magnetic pen sensors. A menu guides the user through all settings and the pressure control set point can be entered in bar and psi. Various LEDs provide information about important operating states. Two persons can lift the device with the carrying handles on the sides, which are retractable. Four devices fit the basic dimensions of a Euro pallet. The device can also be easily integrated into flight cases. The user can start a pump self-test function to determine whether all pumps are working correctly. There is also a function for venting the system and back-flushing the suction filter. If a hose is connected, the tank contents can be pumped into a can. A drain plug allows the tank to be emptied completely. The pumps are switched off before any damage is caused by dry running. In addition, the supply to the Flame Heads is stopped just before air is suctioned in. This prevents undesired fallout. The internal tank can be automatically kept at a medium level with the Galaxis Filling Station (in preparation).
