CM WINCHES

Accurately designed to achieve compactness, simple implementation and safe maintainability, CM theatre winches are extremely adaptable and represent the easiest and most frequent choice.

Thanks to the zero-fleet technology, this winch can be mounted in any position ensuring trouble-free installations in new facilities and renovations.

EHS WINCHES

The first choice to consider for new venues, where the installation room can be designed with minimal restrictions.

Its simplicity and the low number of components, make the EHS winch a reliable and cost-effective solution.

HUP WINCHES

Widely used due to its simplicity, we have re-engineered the pile-up solution to get a strong and flexible basic winch, upon which to build all entry-level applications.

DOT WINCHES

The ideal solution if the only available area for the winch is just a narrow space above the batten. This line-shaft winch can fit in small spaces and can essentially configured without performance limitations..

LIN HOISTS

Featuring a minimal section and ensuring a very clean and nice installation, LIN self-climbing hoists excellently solve the problem of rigging where the use of a common winch would imply work at height issues.

An ideal choice for FOH applications, where a low profile solution is highly desirable.

Our winches come built within sturdy aluminum frames matching standard trusses on the market, making them easy to integrate.

They are safe, featuring large safety factors and any type of safety device you might need, from redundant encoders to load cells and cross-groove detection, all suited for use in safety-related applications up to SIL3 according to EN 61508 or PLe to EN ISO 13849.

As all of our solutions, our entertainment winches can be customized to meet the performances you need.

Depending on performances and travel, we generally offer one of the following three models.

S30 WINCH

It is so compact it perfectly matches the dimensions of a regular square truss size 30 and it can be installed within a size 40.

Provided with zero-fleet angle technology, integration and mounting come very easy in any position and orientation.

Fully equipped with all safety devices, including drum side brake opposite to the motor brake.

E40 and E52 WINCH

High performances and a very safe drive configuration are put together in this high-end winch, suitable to deal with the most demanding event applications.

Compact zero fleet-angle design, drum side braking, high speed, large travel and a very precise dynamic load measurement system are the key features of the E40 and E52 winches.

The pivoting head block ensures to easily match with the most practical line direction and allows exceptional swinging of the load while lifting.

SKY-1 WINCHES

A simple construction still bringing versatility and a design meeting the needs of the touring use.

SKY-1 winch is the ideal solution when the hoist can be installed right above the load, directly clamped to a truss or a trolley; or placed at stage floor, with the lifting lines going straight to the grid and here diverted.

Modular and radio controlled wagon system consisting of a main powered module and a number of passive modules to increase the surface and change the shape of the wagon.

The main module includes everything that is needed for the operation of the wagon, from the control board to the charge management system.

MAIN FEATURES

Excellent grip. WDU driving units are individually spring loaded allowing to keep a good grip with the floor also in case of planarity defects. Motors have that extra power making the wagon able to deal with small raked conditions.

AWS can move along curves (simulating a car movement) and can rotate.

Versatile. The powered module allows integration with passive modules which can be used to extend the surface of the wagon and to get different shapes. That makes it ideal to create revolves and stage wagons.

Smooth movements. The wagon is operated by WDU driving units integrating brushless motors, ensuring a precise control of the movements. AWS and all related passive modules also integrate special triple casters to avoid jerk effects.

Safe control. AWS is controlled by an industrial radio transmission system providing a reliable communication between the pendant control panel and the wagon. A SIL3 emergency stop circuit is also built into the system.

Low profile. The wagon features an height of 220 mm, floor included.

Silent operation. The wagon moves discreetly on the stage and drive units incorporate extremely silent brakes.

Manually movable. WDU driving units can be manually lifted (optionally electrically), leaving the wagon free to move on the triple casters.

Easy chargeable. The powered module comes with batteries, battery charger and charge management system, making it really portable and easily chargeable everywhere.

CONTROL OPTIONS

Direct control by joystick. It offers a live operation of the wagon by using a dual-axis joystick. Maximum speed adjustment is also available on the radio controller.

Trajectory recording and playback. A trajectory is recorded while it is operated live with the joystick, then saved as a cue. Switching to play mode, the wagon is operated at the same way, stops included.

Magnetic guiding. Precise trajectories can be easily drawn directly on the floor by using a magnetic tape applied on the floor, then painted or covered when you need something invisible.

Merging and diverging tracks are also supported.

Understage machinery is the plus giving the possibility to a theatre not only to perform a scene change but sometimes also to really re-configure the stage.

We offer stage and orchestra lifts, revolving stages and turntables, trap elevators, engineering them to meet any performance required.

STAGE LIFTS

Stage lifts can find their use in the stage for many different purposes: as orchestra or stage lifts, as compensating platforms or trap lifts, etc…

Specification in terms of size, shape, load capacity, travel, guiding system, control, etc… can be very different, making stage lifts a complex piece of engineering.

Whatever the requirements, we are experienced with the many technologies needed to deliver almost any type of lifting platform: Spiralifts, LinkLifts, rack and pinions, winches, spindles, scissors, side guides, telescopic guides, etc…

WAGONS

Getting a large scene change in a short time by simply sliding in front of the audience pieces of a scene built side or back stage is absolutely an amazing effect.

Our stage wagons can be developed implementing many technical solutions: they can run above a stage or along recessed areas; be pushed by external devices or incorporate drives delivering the movement; be battery operated and radiocontrolled; move freely, along straight tracks or follow curved paths.

TURNTABLES

We can build them as stand-alone systems, to be assembled where needed or as permanent installations, integrated in stage wagons or integrating lifting platforms. We can build circles, rings and concentric independent rings.

Our preferred design is based on a well tried modular solution, using drive units pushing the turntable by friction, and allowing to work with small installation height.

Engineering allows us to customize any detail of our revolving stages: from diameter to load capacity, from speed to installation height, including power integration and precise positioning systems.

During a show, they can reveal a piece of scenography, turn a ledwall, lift an artist. Event revolves and platforms provide an interactive and dynamic stage floor, especially when machines are used in combinations.

REVOLVES

We can customize our solutions from diameter to load capacity, from speed to installation height, adding power integration and precise positioning systems.

With our modular approach we can provide solutions to cover any application. Starting from small turntables to revolving rings keeping the centre free or to more concentric revolves systems that can be independently assembled.

PLATFORMS

Exclusively relying on mechanical solutions (Spiralifts, LinkLifts, chains, winches, etc…), our lifts can work with extreme precision and can be easily synchronized allowing, in combination with others, to build complex configurations and effects.

We make use of scissor and telescopic guiding systems to give stability to the platform, thus keeping the lift as a stand-alone unit easy to integrate in any stage.

Small configurations, as large as about 2 m, can travel as a single piece, making them an easy solution for rental and touring shows: a 2×1 m lift can have a closed height of 0.5 m and, once installed, extend for about 2 m.
