The Studio, DJ and recording segment is being given a new central presentation platform at Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound. Exhibitors who used to be spread over several halls at the two fairs will make their presentations together in Hall 8.0. The advantages include shorter walking distances for visitors and optimum target-group reachability.
Music Tech Fest
Here the focus will be entirely on digital tools and innovations:
The programme features e.g. an Innovation Masterclass under the direction of prize-winning composer Reeps One, plus MTF Labs, at which leading innovators in the field of music production will be passing on their knowledge. Plus a Trackathon – young, up-and-coming producers, having registered at musictechfest.net, can assemble songs within 24 hours and then present them live at the conclusion to a trade audience.
Thursday and Friday, 4 and 5 April, Hall 3.C, Argument Rooms + Aspect and Circle Stage 3.0
Sample Music Festival
The SampleMusicFestival now has its own area in the Foyer of Hall 4.0 at Musikmesse / Prolight + Sound. There, you can immerse yourself in the various aspects of DJ culture daily.
The primary aim of the SampleMusicFestival is not to present equipment but rather to encourage active visitor participation. Away from the competition between the individual brands, combining different items of equipment leads to exciting applications – active and practical. Naturally, networking is also on the programme and you can also follow everything on social media, as well as discover how the content spreads there. Product experts from companies such as Ambleton, Stanton and Native Instruments will pass on their specialist knowledge, lead the discussions, answer questions and exchange ideas and information.
