International home of event and entertainment professionals: Prolight + Sound is back on the growth track

A powerful statement for events and entertainment: After four days full of innovative presentations, exciting conferences and emotional encounters, Prolight + Sound 2023 closes with a significant increase in visitor numbers. More than 27,500 professionals from 113 countries attended the leading trade fair for the entertainment technology industry from April 25 to 28, 2023.

A joint effort for the future of events and entertainment: Prolight + Sound starts in Frankfurt am Main

The global entertainment technology industry is back in Frankfurt. From 25 to 28 April, 457 companies (2022: 368 exhibitors, certified by FKM) from 34 countries will present innovative solutions for spectacular events, impressive productions and outstanding visitor experiences.

Prolight + Sound 2023 offers new special areas on digital media networking and camera technology

Prolight + Sound is further expanding its range of products and topics for the 2023 event. With the new Future Walk, the show (25 to 28 April 2023, Frankfurt) will offer an interactive area with an experiential character, which will present innovations around networked systems for event technology and broadcast applications. The focus is on network-based processes that will permanently change the industry in the coming years: from remote production to device-independent workflows and on-demand infrastructures. In addition, the Kamera Hub will celebrate its premiere at Prolight + Sound. It is a central contact point for TV cameramen, presents innovations in moving image production in specialised exhibitions and invites visitors to talks and workshops.

Prolight + Sound App

The Smartphone App "Navigator Prolight + Sound" is the orientation guide for visitors of Prolight + Sound. Navigate over the fairgrounds (Site and Hall Plan), through the Exhibitor and Product search or receive inspiration through news and twitter messages. Prolight + Sound Navigator is available for Apple-Products (iPhone, iPod touch, iPad) on the App Store and Android on Google Play Store as a free App.

Information about the Press Center

The Press Center is located at the Torhaus level 4. Admission only to journalists and exhibitors within the framework of their press activities.

Opening times:

25.04 – 27.04.2023: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
28.04.2023: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Give yourself a break and enjoy breakfast or lunch in our Press Center Restaurant. There, you can also take advantage of the opportunity to do some networking during the Happy Hour, which is held during from 5 p.m. to 6. a.m., Monday to Friday during the trade fair.
