Prolight + Sound - the biggest trade fair for the event sector!

As the leading international trade fair, Prolight + Sound brings together the Technologies and Services for Events and Entertainment to create the world's biggest meeting place for the sector. Prolight + Sound 2010 to be held in Frankfurt am Main from March 24 to 27, 2010.

Comprehensive overview of products and services
Unlike any other fair for the event business, Prolight + Sound provides a comprehensive overview of all products and services for the event sector. For four days, the leading international trade fair is the meeting place for exhibitors, trade visitors, dealers and professional users from all over the world. The high degree of internationality and the comprehensive spectrum of products and services are key factors behind the success of this trade fair. For the fifth time, the Media Systems Prolight + Sound trade fair will bring together exhibitors from the fields of media technology and systems integration. This segment will be further reinforced in 2010 and its image boosted by a variety of promotional measures and activities.  

Prolight + Sound is distinguished by a large number of exhibitors and visitors from outside Germany. Trade visitors, including event-hall operators, planners, dealers, sound experts, lighting designers, set designers, studio engineers, event-service providers and exhibition-construction companies, attend Prolight + Sound to discover the latest technical developments, products and all-embracing services.  

The fair is split into several different product groups: audio technology, lighting technology, communication technology, theatre and stage technology, media technology, video communications and systems integration. Visitors will find the sound segment in Hall 8.0. Exhibitors from the light segment present their products in Halls 11.0 (show and stage lighting, contract furnishing, lasers and effects) and Halle 11.0 (theatre, studio and stage lighting). Also to be found in Hall 9.0 are suppliers for the media segment (display, video, audio, microphones, production, broadcast). Here exhibitors from Media Systems Prolight + Sound will present their products and business solutions from the fields of media technology and systems integration.

Prolight + Sound and Musikmesse –complementing each other perfectly
Prolight + Sound is held parallel to the Musikmesse, the leading international fair for Musical Instruments, Sheet Music, Music Production and Music Business Connections. The comprehensive range of products to be seen at Prolight + Sound is supplemented and extended by the products of the musical-instrument sector on show at the Musikmesse. Holding the two fairs together at the same time and place offers exhibitors and visitors a variety of synergy effects.  

Admission tickets to Prolight + Sound entitle holders to visit the Musikmesse and vice versa.
