Prolight + Sound visitors are entitled to enter the Musikmesse free of charge. Trainees from the sector will be admitted as trade visitors.

Admission ticket = public-transport ticket
All admission tickets (except complimentary tickets) include free travel using local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority throughout the entire area covered  by the authority. Tickets purchased on arrival at the fair only entitle the user to travel back from Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre free of charge.

Please note: Vouchers must be exchanged for an admission ticket on the internet to be able to use local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority to and from the fair. Only visitors who have exchanged their voucher for an admission ticket are entitled to use these local public-transport services free of charge. Please note that online tickets are only valid for use on local public-transport services operated by the RMV public-transport authority in combination with a valid identity card or passport.

Trade visitors:
The fair is only open to trade visitors from the following branches of business: wholesale / foreign trade – retail / specialist trade – industry / installation trade for professional event, media, audio and studio technology – operators and staff of sound studios, radio, film and television engineers – freelance event technicians – operators and staff of entertainment caterers (discotheques) – operators and staff of theatres, multi-purpose halls and event locations – stage and theatre decorators, interior architects – hire companies for professional lighting, sound and/or media technology – specialist companies for media installations – event agencies, advertising agencies and agencies for stand construction – architecture and planning offices, building departments and authorities – engineering offices and specialist planning departments for lighting technology and / or room acoustics / sound protection – set designers, camera operators, lighting designers – DJs.

Musikmesse and Prolight + Sound with Production, Broadcasting and Recording Quickfinder
