From 2012, in addition to their trade fair stand, we will again be offering exhibitors at Prolight + Sound the opportunity to present technologies, processes and prospects for the future (links with products are possible) to a wide professional public, within the Media Systems Congress.
The aim of the Manufacturers' Forum is to give new impetus to the sectors involved, to encourage communication between them and to impart information about new products, as well as about new developments and areas of application. This is your opportunity to swap experiences and talk to other professionals.
Please note that there have been one or two changes:
The venue is the conference area in the "Portalhaus", which also contains the new "West" entrance, with access to Hall 11. We are currently in the process of organising the content of the programme. Altogether, we are planning for four lecture areas with approximately 40 contributions, of around 40 minutes each. For the first time, we are also offering you the opportunity to use the Saturday for lectures.
As an exhibitor at Prolight + Sound, you will be able to introduce your products and services to a trade-fair audience of potential customers in a short lecture.
This is your chance to make direct contact with the trade and professional visitors (free of charge for Prolight + Sound 2012 exhibitors). However, lectures which are simply product presentations are not permissible.

We should be grateful if you could let us have a short, informal description of the content in a few sentences. This can be sent with your request for registration or separately by e-mail to: anke

.com. Lectures are generally approx. 40 mins. long (plus a short discussion at the end).
Please try to make the topic as fresh and interesting for the audience as possible. In addition, the talk should be aimed at a diverse public. It is therefore important to choose a form of words that the non-specialist, too, can follow. New approaches and visionary ideas are welcome. It is not necessary to put forward fully developed ideas. Lots of illustrative material is a desirable feature. Some of the rooms offer the possibility of German-English simultaneous translation. If this service is of fundamental importance for your lecture, please indicate this on the attached registration form.
We shall, of course, be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
